System Highlights
The American River project entailed construction of an intake structure to draw water form the American River as well as a pump station to pump the water up a hill to a tunnel leading to PCWA's Foothill Water Treatment Plant.
Our portion, Phase II, included control of the intake gates and valves as well as a back wash system for the intake screens. This required close coordination with a direct competitor who was responsible for all PLC and SCADA programming on the project.
