Service Technician or Service Engineer (depending on skillset) (s.ca)
Be the onsite representative of MCC, performing installations, testing and service for I&C projects. When you pull up in your MCC truck, plant managers will think "Great, this guy is going to fix my problem and get the plant working properly again!"
You will be the onsite representative of MCC, performing installations, testing and service for I&C projects. On large projects, you will work with our teams. You will take the lead on installation, wiring, testing and follow-up service work in the field.
This position could be a great fit for electricians, I&C technicians or PLC programmers or engineers who like the freedom of working outside, learning new things and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
Since every plant is different and I&C systems are complex, this position requires unusually high troubleshooting skills and commitment. You will need to be able to understand wiring diagrams. You will need the ability to direct your own work and ask for help when you need it. As someone who works directly with customers every day, you will need good personal skills and professionalism.
Individuals applying should be able to demonstrate:
1) Ability as a electrician, technician or engineer on automation and control projects, preferably in water or related control applications

3) A track record of success in previous positions
4) P.E. is a big plus
5) ability to learn new skills

Pay for Service Technicians is $40,000 to $65,000 depending on experience and ability
Pay for Service Engineers is $60,000 to $100,000 depending on experience and ability
