Systems Programmer / Engineer (n.ca)
A small fast growing company in the water/waste water industry is seeking software engineers to perform control system programming, modifications, and troubleshooting. Our central office is in Vacaville and we service the Northern California region primarily in the Sac-Stockton corridor and the Bay Area. Field Programmers will typically spend most of their time working at customer locations on small projects ranging from 1 to 14 days in length. Typical field assignments do not require overnight stays. Salary is dependant on skills and related work experience.
PLC Programming – Allen Bradley, Modicon, and other brands
SCADA programming – Wonderware, GE Proficy iFix, Rockwell Software RSView
Electrical control systems troubleshooting
Strong MS Windows and MS Office experience
Good communications and customer relations skills
Education: BSEE and minimum 2 years related experience or 5+ years PLC/SCADA programming experience
Plus: Windows network configuration, radio communications, water/wastewater experience, visual basic programming, OIT programming, modbus, devicenet, controlnet, and other PLC communication protocols.
