Control System Integration

Paseo Padre

The City of Fremont is leading a project to construct and underpass on the Paseo Padre Parkway between Shadowbrooke Common Road and Hancock Drive. MCC Control Systems will be provideing the MCC with pump control to remove groundwater from the under pass. MCC Control Systems will assist with the implementation and the testing of the pump controls.

American River Pump Station Phase II

Our portion, Phase II, included control of the intake gates and valves as well as a back wash system for the intake screens. This required close coordination with a direct competitor who was responsible for all PLC and SCADA programming on the project.

City of Manteca – WQCF Phase III Expansion

This project includes the best technology availible to protect the public from viruses and pathogens. It will virtually eliminate disinfection by-products for the city's waterwater that may impact human health. In addition, Manteca's new facility will actually help mitigate the low disolved oxygen problems in the Stockton Shp Channel, which invreases the City's opportunities to use recycled water. This project was designed to protect human, plant and animal life in the San Joaquin River.

Security Systems

MCC is now offering Security System integration as another service for you to take advantage of. Our systems include the most recent PS-99 compliant cyber security applications used by Water, Fire and Police.

Security applications include video surveillance, InfraRed surveillance, motion detection in restricted areas, personal identity swipe cards for controlled entry to restricted areas, SCADA security and more.

Example Projects

This is an introduction to the list of projects below. Click here for list view.
  • Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) awarded MCC a contract to upgrade their SCADA system. The scope of the project was to upgrade their existing Fix 32 SCADA system and implement new iFix systems. PCWA has total 8 treatment plants spread over 100 miles range in Placer County, California.

Placer County Water Agency SCADA System Upgrade Project

Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) awarded MCC a contract to upgrade their SCADA system. The scope of the project was to upgrade their existing Fix 32 SCADA system and implement new iFix systems. PCWA has total 8 treatment plants spread over 100 miles range in Placer County, California.

This project envisaged the use of Wide Area Network (WAN) to connect each of the treatment plants, which enables PCWA to control and monitor the plant from anywhere within the WAN.

Each PCWA treatment plant is equipped with an iFix SCADA server for local control and monitoring of the plant process. The SCADA communication system is divided in to two segments: one for Control Network (C-Net) where in all plant PLC and other controlling devices are connected; and other Information Network (I-Net) which connects all the SCADA servers over the LAN/WAN.

Manufacturing

Our 8000 square foot manufacturing facility at our headquarters in Vacaville is clean, safe, detail-focused and ready to build your control system panel project.
